SCULPTOR MARC QUINN CAPTURES CHELSEA
| I can't thank Marc Quinn enough for the incredible opportunity to pose for him! After researching his work and discussing the details of what he wanted to do, I was simply flattered and so excited and couldn't wait to finally meet him. I posed for him in January, 2009 and he said it would be about a year or so until it was completed. Seeing the finished object is an absolute delight for me, certainly one of the most thrilling if not the most thrilling accomplishments I've had in my life. I feel so lucky and grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity. I can't help but feel honored that I was one of a select few to be chosen for this project. Working with Marc and his team was a wonderful experience, one that I'll never forget. They were so professional and treated me like a princess, explaining every detail and being very patient with me. To think this sculpture may still be around hundreds of years from now for everyone to see is such a great feeling! |
